The parish of Johnstown-Killiney grew out of the community of faith that is Cabinteely. The families arrived during the sixties and seventies, at first. The parish schools grew to meet this development. Then the community wisely looked for its own sacred space to praise and worship God. Our Lady of Good Counsel Church was born in 1974. During 2015 we celebrated the Ruby Anniversary, 40 years. The Parish Pastoral Centre opened in 2007 and continues today as a vibrant hub for the Parish life.  During these covid 19 days we are prayerful to be kept safe.
